Mother's Day Out - childcare for infants through
two years old in a Christian Atmosphere

Hudson Memorial Mother's Day Out (MDO) maintains a family focus. Realizing that the first three years of a child's development are the most important, our program strives to provide each child with the care and stimulation appropriate for his age.

It is of utmost importance to the child's development that the MDO program be an extension of his home care and not an intrusion of it. Therefore, we strive to identify your family routine and incorporate it into our program.

As caregivers, we realize that we are part of the mirror into which a child looks to gain understanding of who he is. In response to that our primary objective is to reflect unconditional love and self-worth.

Preschool Program for two year olds through five year olds

Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church believes that the first five years of a child's life are crucial in determining later possibilities of success and happiness. Therefore the church is committed to supporting the program of Children's Ministries as an integral part of the overall ministry of the church. Each of our programs strive to provide a warm and loving atmosphere where Christian principles are presented as a way of life rather than a subject apart from life. Our program strives to met the developmental needs of each child through:

  1. Providing an atmosphere that fosters trust.
  2. Encouraging independence.
  3. Providing activities that allow some degree of success in order to encourage self-confidence.
  4. Sensory exploration
  5. Hands-on experiences
  6. Group & individual experiences
  7. Outdoor play
  8. Realistic expectations.
