Director of Youth Ministry
Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry. The Director of Youth Ministry is a full-time, exempt staff position reporting to the Pastor/Head of Staff and is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive, relational, and faith-centered ministry for youth in grades 5–12 and their families. This role provides vision, leadership, and administration for youth programming, confirmation, mission experiences, retreats, worship participation, and ongoing faith formation, while cultivating meaningful relationships with youth, families, volunteers, and the broader community. The Director recruits, trains, and supports adult advisors and leaders; partners closely with church staff, committees, and denominational resources; and ensures effective communication, budgeting, and administrative oversight. Grounded in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Reformed tradition, the position emphasizes creativity, pastoral presence, healthy boundaries, and continuous evaluation and growth of the youth ministry program.
